Hello world! I’ve been meaning to start a blog for a while and I’m finally doing it.
A little bit about me, I’m a personal trainer, health coach, pilates instructor – blah blah, that isn’t what is really important. I’m a wife, a mom, a fitness addict and health advocate. I want to make a difference in this world by helping people to live healthier and happier lives. Sounds simple but you have all seen the statistics – illness abounds. Wellness is something sold in late night infomercials with the latest blender, 30 minute workout dvd series or diet supplement. It’s much simpler than that, yet much more complex. Eat whole, fresh food and move and sleep. That is the simple part. How to eat fresh food when there is an entire aisle of the grocery store devoted to the mighty potato chip. How to move when our lives can be run from a smart phone while sitting on your butt. How to sleep when you’re up blogging at 11 pm! 😉
My goal for this blog is to make wellness attainable. I am not a “selfie” taker – it’s not my style. I will share with you information and ideas about how you can live a healthier and happier life. We owe it to our children and future generations to lead by example with the choices we make every day. I’ll do my best to make it fun and inspirational.
